Transportation Services Strategic Plan

Purpose:

The purpose of the Strategic Plan is to address transportation and parking programs and services for the University of Oregon.

Introduction:

The Strategic Plan will be the first completed for the Transportation Services Department. This process will include a review of current operational needs and services provided within the department. The final plan will refine the department-wide mission, identify strategic priorities, and create a transportation and parking vision for the university. Departmental goals with annual performance measures will guide future operations, initiatives, and projects.

The Strategic Plan, in conjunction with the Campus Plan and Development Guidelines, will also help inform the development of a long-range transportation master plan.

Status:

The strategic planning process kicked off at the end of September 2018, with a review of best practices, and an initial assessment of current resources and operations. Stakeholder interviews and focus group meetings began in October and are expected to be completed in late November. The final plan will be completed in late spring – early summer.

Engagement:

Access to and around campus and parking services impact every campus user, and the surrounding community. With that in mind, we are gathering feedback from multiple campus user-groups and individuals, and external partner agencies. This website will also provide project updates, and ways you can be involved in the planning process.
